Punch Fun!!!!!!

I had so much fun making this card!!!  I made this awhile ago with discontinued colors but
you could use Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, and Very Vanilla or any fun color combo
to make this card!  I used the 1 3/8", 1 1 /4", 1", 3/4", and 1/2" circle punches to make this card.
Punch out the littler circle first and then punch a larger circle around it to make the larger circles...
I then used the little ones I had punched out to fill in spots!  The greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes!

I love making things out of punches!!! This card uses the 1 7/8' Scallop punch and the 1" circle punch to make the lady bug.  I punched out one scallop in Basic Black and one in Real Red.
I used the Crop-a-dile to punch out the little circles out of the Real Red Scallop Circle.  I took the
Basic Black marker to draw the line on the ladybugs back...then taped the 2 scallops together...
the Old Olive strip was made with the scallop edge border punch and then the crop-a-dile to punchout the centers of each scallop.  Layer on Basic Black and Real Red and add a greeting and a ribbon!!!
This simple card makes me so happy.  It is just a Crumb Cake card with the greeting and a little flower stamped in Crumb Cake.  The flower is Real Red punched with the Fancy Flower Die and stamped in Real Red with the A to Z stamp.  The leaves were made using a circle punch and then punching that circle again into the shape of a leaf...you can get 3 leaves out of a single circle punched piece of cardstock.  Add a coordinating button with a grosgrain bow!

This last card is one of my favorite kid cards!!!!  Just take a piece of Real Red cardstock
size 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and fold it in half...place it on the Scallop Die and make sure to leave the fold about a half inch away from the scallop edge....this is where it will open.  Punch out 2 one inch pieces of Whisper White Cardstock and punch out two 1/2" circles of Basic Black to make the eyes.
The nose is punched out with the 1 3/8" circle punch in Pumpkin Pie.
The mouth is punched out in Basic Black with the Wide Oval Punch and then cut down on one side.
Makes an adorable kids card or party invite!!!

Build a Bear fun!!!

This card was made using the Top Note Die by folding a piece of Pretty in Pink
cardstock in half and then when you run it thru the die you put the fold inside the cut out area so it maintains the fold.  Add a piece of Designer Series Paper to the bottom and a strip of white cardstock that was punched with the scallop edge punch!  Add a cute bow and the greeting from the
Beary Nice Wishes stamp set.  The little girl bear is from the Beary Best Friends Stamp set and she is watercolored and cut out and I added some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the shopping bag, the belt and the flower!
This card was made using the Bear Die and the Scallop Circle #2 die and the 3" circle die.
The piece of Whisper White was stamped with a greeting from the Beary Nice Wishes set and the little heart was punched out of the Heart to Heart punch.  Then the piece of
Whisper White was run thru the Big Shot in the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.
The Real Red cardstock was punched along the bottom with the Scallop Trim Border Punch.
The Scallop was cut out in Chocolate Chip and then the center was cut out with the 3" circle die.
The Bear was cut out in Crumb Cake and the heart was cut out of the same Bear die in Real Red.

This was so adorable that I had to share!!!  I received this in a swap a few years ago and it was placed on one of those huge paper clips that you can get at an office supply store!  The Bear Die and the Beary Dressy Sizzlit were used to make the bear and chearleading outfit!  The pom poms and flowers were made with the Bojo Blossoms punch. I plan on making this in my daughters school colors
for her scrapbook when I do her cheerleading pictures!!!  So cute!!!

Have a "beary" nice day!!!

Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder ideas!

I can hardly remember what it was like making cards without the Big Shot!!!  I love
the embossing folders...they add so much and you can make a quick and beautiful card with one so easily!!!  The card above was made with Soft Suede, Old Olive, and Pumpkin Pie and the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder and the greeting is from Only Ovals and
I added a flower brad in Pumpkin Pie!  Fun!
This card was made with the Shimmering White cardstock and Basic Black....the butterfly was
made out of Vellum Cardstock and run thru the Big Shot in the Beautiful Wings Embosslit and attached with a Basic Black Brad.  The greeting was from the Only Ovals stamp set and was punched out with the large oval and the scallop oval punches!  A beautirul card for a wedding, anniversary or even a sympathy card!

Have a great day!!!

Fifth Avenue Floral/ Manhatten Flower Embossing Folder

I know this set has been around for awhile but it is one of my favorite stamp sets and I
LOVE that it has a matching embossing folder!!!  This card was made with Riding Hood Red,
Early Expresso, Crumb Cake, and Whisper White.  The greeting is from Only Ovals and are punched out with the large oval punch and the scallop oval punch and layered onto the Riding Hood Red cardstock that was run thru the Big Shot in the Manhatten Flower Embossing Folder!
This card was made by running it thru the Movers and Shapers XL Bigz die with the Curly Label add-on die....then it was run thru the Big Shot again in the Manhatten Flower Embossing Folder.  The card is Pink Pirouette and is layered on Chocolate Chip.  Use the Curly Label Punch to layer the greeting and add a little bow!
I enjoy the "Bleach" technique!!!  Make a stamp pad by using white felt cut to the size of a stamp pad...I moisten it with Clorox Bleach and either set it on a plastic plate or inside a clear mount stamp case....stamp the image into the bleached felt and then stamp on Stampin' Up! cardstock.  Most of the bleach will pull the color out to a white or vanilla base!  Love it!!!
***Make sure to clean your stamp after using it in the bleach***
I used Baja Breeze, Early Expresso, and Very Vanilla for this card and the greeting is from Only Ovals and punched out in the large oval punch and the scallop oval punch!

Have a "flowery" day!!!

Charming set samples!

This is such a pretty stamp set!  I used it mostly with our Simply Adorned Jewelry line
but it also makes beautiful cards!!!  The above card was made using Crumb Cake, Soft Suede,
So Saffon, and Always Artichoke, Calypso Coral markers.  The edges are hand torn and sponged
with Crumb Cake.  I added the linen thread and a taffeta bow thru the
Jumbo Eyelets that are now discontinued.
I loved making this simple and quick card using Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip, and
Whisper White.  The greeting is from Sincere Salutations and I added a grosgrain ribbon!

Have a beautiful day!

Pocket Silhouettes set samples!

I love this card!!! We made this at an open house when this set first came out...the card
is Whisper White with a layer of Basic Black and the Top Note Die was cut out of Pink Pirouette.
I used the corner rounder to coordinate with the roundness of the Top Note Die.  The greeting was
stamped with the Craft Whisper White Pad.

Here is another cute card with that set...it is made with Early
Expresso, Marina Mist and Whisper White.  I used the scallop edge punch along
the bottom and the greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.  Add a double grosgrain bow and
this is a great way to use up those little scrap pieces of cardstock!

Have a great day!

Flight of the Butterfly stamp set samples!

This card was made using Pretty in Pink, So Saffron, and Certainly Celery and the grass is from
the Inspired by Nature stamp set..add a saying and a couple of brads and an easy quick card!!

I love this card....it uses Pretty in Pink, Basic Black and Whisper White.  Use the
Dot Dot background stamp in Black on the White cardstock.  Add a little bow and mount the
butterfly to add some depth!
I am always looking for different folds and I think this is a cute card idea!
Cut 2 pieces of cardstock at an angel...punch with the scallop edge punch and
adhere with Sticky Strip on the sides and bottom to create a pouch!
Use the Top Note Die for the little card inside!

Cute idea for an invitation or put a picture inside as a little surprise!

I love this color combo...Pacific Point, Baja Breeze, and Lucky Limeade!
I used the Inspired by Nature grass again on this card and the white gel pen for the centers
of the little flowers.  I love that we have a coordinating Butterfly Punch for this stamp set!!!

Another quick card using the Inspired by Nature grass again and punching out the butterflies so they are flying!  I used Old, Olive, Chocolate Chip and Rose Red
(stamped off for the butterfly blob and full strength for the butterfly detail)
and add a little grosgrain ribbon and a greeting!

Have a great day!!!!

Inspired by Nature Day Two

I loved using a funky color combination....it is Real Red, Old Olive, and Daffodil Delight.
I stamped the grass in Old Olive on Old Olive cardstock.  I also used markers to ink up the flowers and
"huffed" it.  The greeting is on the Word Window Punch and I added a little brad to finish it up!
This card is made using Daffodil Delight, Early Expresso, and Whisper White.
I markered the stamp and "huffed" it the first time and then stamped it repeatedly without reinking it to get the lighter flowers.  Add a tag with the greeting on a ribbon to complete the look!

I love a good Black and White card. I used the En Francais stamp with the Whisper White Pad to create the background.  The flowers were stamped with the Whisper White Craft Pad and embossed with White Embossing Powder.  The Scallop Edge Border Punch was used on the Whisper White cardstock and then I took the small hole from the Crop-a-Dile and punched out the circles to create a different look.

This last card uses Certainly Celery, Rose Red, Early Expresso, and Confetti White cardstock.
Since we do not carry the horizontal slot punch anymore you can still get this effect by using the small hole punch from the Crop-a-Dile  and punching 3 times in a row on top of each other to make a slot!

Enjoy!

Inspired by Nature samples Day One

This is such a versatile stamp set!!! You can use the grass stamp for so many different types of cards and it looks great on scrapbook pages and goes with so many of our stamp sets!!!  The card above uses Tangerine Tango, Lucky Limeade, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White.  I stamped the grass onto the Tangerine Tango cardstock and then again on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and then punched out a 1 3/4" circle and sponged it and placed it on the card lining it up with the other grasses.  I used the Word Window Punch in Chocolate Chip to make the cattails.  Add a little strip for the greeting and the little bow!

This card uses So Saffron, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip and Confetti White cardstock.
I used a little punch we used to carry called Horizontal Slot Punch to make smaller cattails.
The greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes!

This card uses Old Olive, Rose Red, Soft Suede, and Confetti White cardstock.
The butterfly is from the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set and is stamped off in Rose Red for the background and full strength for the flowers...punched out with the butterfly punch.

Have a beautiful day!!!

I {heart} Hearts stamp set samples!

I love this set so much that for some reason I have it in wood and clear mount!!!
The top card is Pretty in Pink run thru the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.
The hearts are Tempting Turquoise, Melon Mambo, and Old Olive and the center one is cut out and mounted with a dimensional.  I love the knotted bow on a paper clip....cute touch!

I used Rich Razzleberry and Very Vanilla for this card...the Rich Razzleberry was run thru the Big Shot using the Perfect Details Texture Plate and was attached to the Very Vanilla card and then run thru the Big Shot using the Movers and Shapers Die with the Punch Windows to create the large heart opening.
When the card opens there layered heart is on the inside of the card! I used the Eyelet Border Punch on 2 sides of a piece of cardstock to create the lace effect and added a ribbon!

This was a card we made for an open house I did a long time ago...
it uses Melon Mambo, Chocolate Chip, and Whisper White.
The Scallop Circle layered was made using the Scallop Circle #2 die and the Circles Die and I ran the Whisper White Circle thru the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.  The little hearts were stamped and then punched out using the Heart to Heart Punch.  The large heart is the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit in Chocolate Chip and then again in Melon Mambo but that heart is punched with the Full Heart Punch to take off the scallop.  Add a Chocolate Chip bow to finish it off!

Quick and easy Valentine, Anniversary or just "I Love You" card!!!
I used Real Red, Crumb Cake, Basic Black and
Whisper White cardstock.  The little Real Red strip was stamped with the Woodgrain stamp to coordinate with the wood grain on the larger heart!  I used the Pinking Hearts Border Punch and a little hemp twine to finish it off!!!

Fancy Flowers set samples!

Simple yet elegant card to make and add a greeting when you are ready!!!
I used Crumb Cake for the card and the colors are Pacific Point, Lucky Limeade, and Chocolate Chip.
I used the Eyelet Border Punch and the Only Ovals set with the coordinating Oval and Scallop Oval punches.
This is another card that I just loved demonstrating...  It is So Saffron, Tangerine Tango, and Basic Black!
The flowers are stamped with the Craft Whisper White stamp pad and I used the Eyelet Border Punch in Basic Black for the edge.  The butterflies were cut out using the Big Shot and the Butterflies Die...it always adds a nice touch when you attach your saying with layered punches!

This last card is a fun technique!!! I stamped the Regal Rose Cardstock using household BLEACH!
I take a piece of felt and cut it the size of a stamp pad...place it in an empty stamp box or dvd case and dampen with bleach.  Stamp the rubber stamp into the bleach and stamp onto Stampin' Up! cardstock and it will pull the color OUT of the cardstock to a lighter base color!  Love it!
****Be careful using bleach as it will ruin clothing, etc. if you come in direct contact with it****
Be sure to clean the stamp right away to remove the bleach from the rubber.
I layered this onto Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla cardstock and used the Only Ovals set and matching punches as well...

Under the Stars stamp set samples!

This card cracks me up!!! That big mean bear just broke out of the card I made him in!!!
I made this card using Chocolate Chip and the old color Close to Cocoa (substitute with Crumb Cake or Soft Suede) and the Confetti White cardstock.  The bear is actually stamped on the front of the Confetti White card and then the 2 layers of brown are tore and layered on top.  I used the Color Spritzer to make the splatters on the card.  The Tag punches were used for the saying and are attached with the hemp twine!

This is another fun card using that set...I used the Stars Die to cut out the More Mustard Stars and then using a Happy Birthday stamp I markered each letter one at a time to stamp on the center of the stars cleaning the stamp in between each inking.  I used one of the bigger stars to stamp just the word birthday on and added a little brad embellishment.  The DSP strips are discontinued but you get the idea and can use our patterned DSP instead.  Fun boy card!!!

This last card uses the cute little raccoon from this set...I used Real Red, Whisper White and Basic Black for this card and the hearts are stamped Real Red on Real Red.  I like cutting the bottom layer of the raccoon longer to be able to add a bow ( discontinued ribbon ) it just adds a little something!!!

Have a "beary" nice day!!!
