Beautiful Butterflies Big Shot Die!!!

I just loved making this card....I used the Beautiful Butterflies Die with the Patterned Designer Series Paper stacks....The colors are Baja Breeze, So Saffron and Melon Mambo.  I love using the Linen thread for the butterfly body and antennae and to add the cute little button bow!  I also used the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and the corner rounder.

This card was made by my friend Dena Rekow...The colors are Basic Black, Crumb Cake, and Daffodil Delight...She cut out the butterfly with  a DSP we do not carry anymore but you could use the Newsprint DSP instead...She used the Pinking Hearts Border Punch and the Boho Blossoms Punch.  Stamp sets used were Word Play and Style Beautiful.  The Rosette in the center was made by cutting a circle out of our Sticky Sheets and then you twist Satin Ribbon and start in the middle of the sticky circle and wrap around and trim off when sticky circle is covered.  Cute!!

I got this idea from a Regional I attended...I cut the Butterflies from the Patterened DSP in Concord Crush.  The backgound was made by taking the clearmount stamp set Broadsheet Alphabet and using
clear block  "I"  and covering the entire block with the letters in different directions and then inked it with the Daffodil Delight ink and stamped it on Daffodil Delight cardstock...I used the 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon to add some texture and the Tiny Tags Stamp set and matching Jewelry Tag Punch and attached it with a brad.
The colors on this card are Regal Rose, More Mustard, and Very Vanilla...The background stamp was the Tres Chic Stamp that is discontinued so you could use the En Francais stamp instead...I also used the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder and the Top Note Bigz Die.  The thank you is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and I used the Color Spritzer to splatter the entire card after it was assembled.

How cute is this little post it note hanger??? It was made by my director, Denise Jorgensen, and she too 2 pieces of Daffodil Delight cardstock and a portion of a stack of post it notes and ran them thru the Beautiful Butterflies die all at one time....she made sure that the top of the wings were where the "sticky" part so it will still hold together when cut.  She then ran the Daffodil Delight butterflies thru the Stripes Embossing Folder...she also cut out a Marina Mist butterfly and ran it thru the Perfect Polka Dots folder and then cut our another butterfly out of vellum cardstock...The 3 butterflies are held together with 3 silver Mini Brads.  Use the Crop-a-Dile to punch the 1/8"  hole for the binder rings....such a cute gift!!!

Hope you loved these!!!
